A hanging plant basket, handcrafted by women basket weavers in Gitarama, Rwanda. They grow their own sisal plants locally, then extract the fibers to hand-dye and weave them into these beautiful works of art.
To make these baskets, the weavers coil the sisal around their sweetgrass, building intricate patterns with color.
Perfect for holding a 4" pot or great for organizing fun items like wooden toys or root vegetables.
