The Aztec Sun Face & Body bar soap is inspired by the Aztec culture’s element of balance,

Charcoal rids your skin of impurities, while coconut oil replenishes. The fine cornmeal gently exfoliates to enhance natural glow, while bergamot oil balances & evens your complexion. 

Bathing was more than just an act of cleansing in Aztec culture, it was a deeply restorative activity and a way to o connect with ancestors.  A Temazcal, or a steam room, was a way for them to heal their physical, mental, and spiritual being.  

All Temazcal Life products are handmade in small batches, using traditional processes that retain the healing properties of the botanicals.

Temazcal Life is a personal care brand rooted in Pre-Hispanic Mesoamerican rituals meant to purify and renew the body, mind, & spirit. They believe simple rituals have the power to transform our well-being.

Their name, pronounced teh•ma•skaal laif, comes from the Aztec Náhuatl word Temazcalli; which means “steam house.” The temazcal bath ritual is part of well-being in a traditional culture that safeguards communal integrity.

They believe well-being is not only the absence of illness but also balance in the community through social harmony, balanced natural surroundings, the visible universe around us, and the intangible universe of beliefs.
