We are honored to host a selection of captivating studies from this buoyant local restauranteur-artiste.  Irwin is perhaps best known for her delectable & longed-for St. Johns haunt, Pastificio d’Oro - but later went to explore a newfound culinary project with her partner, Chase, in the form of a French Cajun pop-up, Ma Cher.

Maggie’s creativity clearly expands far beyond her coveted salad dressing, while still holding the same humble, well-considered, deceptively complex ingredients & execution as her food. 

Painted in acrylic & pastel, these “Portals” explore radial color theory in a way that simultaneously awakens, transports and grounds the viewer.  They are meditations on curiosity and acceptance, translated in a style that lives outside of time, while nodding to mystical painters of the past like Hilma Af Klint and Sonia Delaunay.
