Grandma's craft expertise reclaimed by the modern maker, respectfully.

A one-of-a-kind cropped short sleeve top, made from a beautiful antique quilt by Portland slow fashion designer, Old Aurora.

Antique, femme, and perfectly sun-faded on a clothes line...

This piece showcases a faded sherbert-orange harlequin sun panel in front, mingling with remnants of washed-out 1950's calico, alongside blanched red gingham, seafoam stripes, pale pinks, dusted jades, and faint mocha swirls.

*Only quilts with damage are used to make these unique garments so as to respect and preserve works of folk art that still remain in great condition as blankets and wallhangings.  Your garment will inherently show signs of distress due to this policy, but we assure you these pieces are nonetheless, quite incredible.  They come with a mysterious, historic story, crafted by the hands of grandmothers.
