Amsha - Gishamvu Basket Trio

Form meets function, woven and dyed by hand, with materials of the earth.

This unique woven basket trio shows off a deep terra orange, chocolate, cream + ballet pink color-block motif, woven by artisans in Gitarama, Rwanda. They weave sisal around sweetgrass, a fragrant grass with a subtle sweetness, creating painterly designs as they coil.   

Small: 4" x 4" (holds 2-3" plant)

Medium: 5" x 5" (holds 4" plant)

Large: 7" x 7" (holds 5-6" plant)

*If used as a planter, ensure you plant in a water-resistant vessel with a drainage plate.  These are not for direct planting as they are made from materials of the earth that will degrade when exposed to repeated moisture.
