A hanging plant basket, handcrafted by womyn basket weavers in Gitarama, Rwanda. They grow their own sisal plants locally, then extract the fibers to hand-dye and weave them into these beautiful works of art. The sisal is coiled around sweetgrass, a fragrant grass with a subtle sweetness.
