A 1980's vintage floral georgette dress from collectible LA designer Diane Freis, whose designs captured the playful yet glamorous spirit of the era. 
This piece is a bit more subdued than her typical work, making it a little more wearable. 

It has a unique cape detail around the shoulders, with tasseled drawstrings at the neckline, and a smocked waistline.

Freis was known for creating colorful, easy-to-wear dresses in eye-catching patterns - using easy flowing georgette and one-size styling, great for travel. She was worn by many musicians of the day, such as Diana Ross, Elton John and Joni Mitchell.
